Yesterday has come and gone

Tomorrow is yet to be

Today is all we truly have

Each moment, eternity

Don’t let a moment sneak by you

Don’t let a second pass

For once it’s gone, its history

And you’ll forever lose the chance

Hold tight those around you

Apologize and forgive

Our next breath is never promised

Nor the breath of the one were with

Be kind to those around you

Friends and strangers too

For no one knows another’s heart

Or what they’re going through

Live each day to the fullest

Laugh and sing and dance

Wake each day with a grateful heart

For it may be your last

Comfort those you love

And tell them how you feel

For if you never see them again

The past you’ll wish to steal

We only have here and now
